Environmental Testing
Solar Radiation Testing- A type of environmental testing:
Solar radiation testing is carried out to determine the effects of radiation on equipment that will be exposed to sunlight during use or unprotected storage on the Earth's surface or within the lower atmosphere. The heating effects of radiation are different from those of high air temperature alone in that the amount of warmth absorbed or reflected relies on the surface's colour and roughness. In addition to the varied speeds at which different materials develop, variations in the radiation's intensity could cause elements to expand or contract at completely different rates, which could lead to significant strains and the collapse of the structure.
